Hello,

We are Natasha, Nina, Júlia, Anabel and Marc. We have worked the stereotypes of Poland.

In Poland we think that the people eat a lot but not at the same time as we do.

For example, they have breakfast earlier than us, then in the middle of the day they only have a small lunch.

Their main lunch is in the afternoon when they arrive home, more or less at five.

Most of people are blond and their eyes are blue.

The weather is very cold in winter and it always snows.

We are looking forward to having your opinion soon.

We are Carlos, Gloria, Miquel and Mario. We live in Terrassa (Barcelona) and we go to El Cim school.

The stereotypes that represent your country for us are:

fado, because you sing sad songs.

Carabellas, because we think that you are good navigators.

Fires, because your country is very dry and hot, and this facilitates fires.

Rural life, because there are more people who live in villages than in towns.

Football selection, because you have got some good football players, like Cristiano Ronaldo.

The rooster, because is the sign of your country.

Oporto and Lisboa, because they are important cities.

Sorry, but, we think that a lot of German people are very serious and hard workers.

We think that your language is very estrange and complicated.

Your hair is very blond and your eyes are very blue.

We think that you have and drink a lot of beer. And when you come here, in Catalonia, you drink our beer too.

Also, you eat a lot of hot dogs, concretely “Frankfurts”.

Where you are in Germany, it rains very

much, it’s very cold and it’s very cloudy.

Your landscape it’s very smoothness and very green, and you can ride a bike a lot.

You have a lot of monuments: Brandenburg Gate, Tiegarten, Holocaust monument...

We connect the idea of Nazism with the history of your

country, but now you don’t have any relation about this. We also think that you’re open to talk about this terrible think.

Stereotypes Collage

The logo contest

We told the students to produce an image to identify our Comenius programme and we decided to create a logo contest. Everyone at Year 4 became very enthusiastic in artistic creation and enjoyed very much making the logo. It was supposed to symbolize the contents of the project: Let's get to know each other through photography. The goal was to create a logo that was nice, unique and easily identifiable.

Now we have finally got all the designs and we are ready to decide. We hope you like it.
